It is Better to Believe than to not Believe, In the God of the Bible, because the Rewards are so awesome it would be foolish not to believe. The argument we're presenting is reminiscent of Blaise Pascal’s Wager, a philosophical idea proposed by Blaise Pascal, a 17th-century philosopher and mathematician. He argued that it is a better “bet” to believe in God because the potential rewards (eternal life, infinite happiness) far outweigh any losses or sacrifices made in this life. Conversely, if God does not exist, the believer loses very little, whereas the non believer risks missing out on innite rewards if God does exist.

Understanding “Present Truth” in the Context of 2 Peter 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the Present Truth.
The term “Present Truth” In Peter’s time, was the revelation that Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah, fulfilling the prophecies written thousands of years before His arrival. The Old Testament prophets had spoken of a coming Savior, and in Peter’s era, those prophecies were being fulfilled through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.
Imagine missing out on the PRESENT TRUTH in apostle Peter's era and not believing that Jesus was the Messiah and therefore missing out on GRACE for the remission of sins, and that would be messed up. But Today we all have a chance to believe in Jesus Christ and to not miss out on GRACE for your remission of sins.
Applying the Concept of “Present Truth” Today
Just as Peter emphasized the fulfillment of prophecy in his time, “Present Truth” for us today refers to the prophecies in the Bible that are currently unfolding in our world. The Bible contains numerous prophecies about the end times, some of which are believed to be manifesting in today’s global events. These include prophecies found in books like Daniel, Revelation, and others like Matthew 24 that speak of significant end-time events.
Examples of “Present Truth” Prophecies Unfolding Now
1. The Mark of the Beast (Revelation 13 & 14):
• This prophecy talks about a time when everyone will be required to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell. Understanding what this “mark” represents is critical because it involves life-altering decisions with eternal consequences. The unfolding of this prophecy could be linked to current discussions around global economic systems, digital currencies, and other technologies that may control how people buy and sell. Note: If you get the Mark you will be able to buy & sell, but if you choose not to get the Mark you will not be able to buy & sell. Interestingly the Bible says that if you do get the Mark of the Beast, you will drink the wine of the wrath of God. So what is this Mark of the Beast?
2. Last day events:
• Jesus spoke of various signs that would precede His return, such as wars, natural disasters, pestilences, and increasing lawlessness (Matthew 24 & Revelation 6). Many believers see the increasing frequency and intensity of these events as signs that these prophecies are coming to pass, highlighting the urgency of understanding Present Truth. Note: These calamities will work in conjunction with the Mark of the Beast to instigate the promotion of rest/worship on a day that God the Creator did not Sanctify or Command.
